Power supply for repeater mobile phone?
I'm trying to get everything for my cellular repeater created together. I have the TX and RX radios, and duplex unit and antenna. My last thing is the power supply. I do not want to connect it to my car because I have an automatic and I'll leave this issue only for 20 hours max. I wonder if there is something out there, is portable (it fits in my Jeep), which comes on a setting on my mobile repeater Cars at 25-50 watts for at least 20 hours before needing to be recharged. adequate assistance would be very grateful.
About your only option is a good size batteries. You can bring some extra batteries and plug in the relay in parallel to increase capacity. Previously, we have a cat if you are serious battery would eventually connect with staying power. You will be amazed at how long Cat 6 D batteries can run a repeater. I do not think you want to try to charge batteries of this size, but few deep cycle batteries marine should do the job.
